Achilles Tendon Pain

Achilles tendon pain happens when the tendon that connects your calf to the heel becomes irritated from repeated stress. It is common when athletes suddenly increase training, run on hard surfaces, or don’t have strong enough calf muscles. Pain or stiffness is felt near the heel or lower calf, usually after activity or in the morning.

Let’s keep your Achilles springy!

The Achilles is like a bungee cord, it stores energy and releases it every time you move. Strengthening your calf helps absorb force, rotating through shoes reduces repeated impact on the same areas. Exercises such as pogo hops, heel-to-toe rockers, calf stretches, and toe-on-wall stretches improve strength and mobility, allowing your Achilles the handle movement safely.
